The Saint Anthony Hospital Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, staffed around-the-clock with qualified board-certified emergency medicine physicians and expert staff to care for patients of all ages.

Saint Anthony Hospital is approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health as an Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP) with capabilities to meet emergency and critical care needs of seriously ill and injured children.

Telestroke Program

Through a clinical partnership with Northwestern Memorial Hospital, we offer more advanced neurology care, provided by an on-site neurologist or through state-of-the-art Telestroke technology. Patients have access to specialists 24/7 for quicker diagnosis and treatment, including faster hospital admission if necessary.

Fast Track

For less severe injuries and illnesses, Saint Anthony Hospital’s Fast Track located within our Emergency Department offers faster access to high quality care from certified staff for both adults and children. The Fast Track is open seven days a week with late evening hours.
