Saint Anthony Hospital's Food and Nutrition Services deliver quality meals to our patients and their guests.
Food and Nutrition Services provides nutritional food options for all of Saint Anthony Hospital! Working in consultation with physicians and nurses, the licensed and registered dietitians in Food and Nutrition Services provide nutrition screenings and assessments, education, and dietary instruction to patients and members of their families.
The cafeteria, located on the hospital's first floor, provides healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner options for associates, medical students, and visitors as well as for many of the City of Chicago's first responders. We offer additional food options in our vending room for 24 hours a day. Vending machines provide a variety of healthy snacks, sandwiches, dinner salads, and beverages.
Patients and associates are at the heart of everything we do. Every member of the Food and Nutrition Services team completes FOSS (Focus on Service Support) and CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm, and Service) training to optimize the dining experiences of hospital patients and cafeteria patrons. In addition, our management team completes self-audits every quarter to ensure that all of our food service programs promote patient, employee, and customer satisfaction.
